Proposal Engineer

Role Overview

Proposal Engineer at Kadoon Wellness is responsible for preparing and submitting competitive bids and proposals for projects in various industries with special focus on MEP. Their primary role is to analyze project requirements, evaluate technical specifications, and develop comprehensive tender documents that meet the client's needs and requirements. The right candidate should have excellent knowledge and experience in MEP design for overall estimation and costing.

Responsibilities

1-   Project Analysis: Review and analyze project specifications, technical requirements, and scope of work to understand project objectives and deliverables.

2-   Tender Preparation: Prepare accurate and competitive tender documents, including technical proposals, cost estimates, project schedules, and other relevant information required for the bid submission.

3-   Cost Estimation: Collaborate with the international and local network of suppliers / other departments to gather cost information and estimate project expenses. Develop detailed cost breakdowns and share it with engineering and projects managers. Apply value engineering concepts to provide the best value and total cost of ownership to Kadoon Wellness clients and customers.

4-   Technical Evaluation: Evaluate technical specifications, drawings, and other project-related documents to identify potential risks, challenges, and compliance requirements. 5-   Bid Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive bid strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. Identify key differentiators and value propositions to enhance the competitiveness of the bid.

6-   Collaboration: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including engineering teams, project managers, procurement, and legal departments, to gather necessary information and ensure the bid is aligned with the company's capabilities and resources.

7-   Supplier/Subcontractor Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers or subcontractors, request quotations, and negotiate subcontracting agreements to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.

Kadoon is expanding its digital sales and eCommerce capabilities. We are looking for a commercial leader to our B2C and B2B eCommerce business unit. The right candidate will oversee growth for company platforms. In doing this he/she will work on multiple fronts with different teams to execute digital growth and eCommerce strategy and achieve business objectives related to growth, customer experience and innovation across multiple brands in the domains of beauty care, wellness, and spa solutions. In this role, the commercial leader will maintain and develop our platforms roadmap to provide exemplary customer experience in GCC.

Responsibilities

1. Defines the online, digital growth and e-commerce strategy for Kadoon platforms and business goals for each brand and through different digital channels for B2B and B2C.
2. Achieves monthly sales targets across Kadoon portfolio through digital platforms.
3. Lead telemarketing and tele-sales teams’ activities through different customer support teams and platforms.
4. Drives growth and development for Kadoon’s products by strategically building relationships with Amazon and other online marketing venues in GCC for B2B and B2C. Pioneers and creates new opportunities with ecommerce accounts, identifying white space and marketing opportunities to generate sales.
5. Ensures key products are featured, cross-sell & up sells are allocated, and key customer journeys are reflected; leads the implementation of eCommerce related CRM initiatives and platforms.

Supervise daily activities of warehouse to ensure safe and efficient storage and retrieval of all local and out station supplies.

1.       Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of product, materials, and supplies and maintenance of inventory.

2.       Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store and deliver products, materials, supplies or equipment; complete packing slips for shipments as assigned.

3.     Supervise the processing of requisitions and requests to invoice for reimbursements of warehouse codes; complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels. Manage the full purchasing cycle from supplier selection to requisition management to purchase order generation, sending and receiving into warehouse to fulfill demand from different business units and different purchase types.
